The Ukrainian company WINFLY has unveiled its WINFLY Spider interceptor designed to counter fixed-wing UAVs, as well as Mavic-series drones, FPV drones, and fibre-optic-controlled UAVs.

In an article published by Ukrainian military news outlet Militarnyi, it was reported that the Spider interceptor was developed on the company's 10 Hunter airframe and integrated with the Karakurt net-deployment system for non-kinetic target interception.

The WINFLY 10 Hunter platform has an operational ceiling of up to 5,000 meters, a maximum speed of 160 km/h and an operational range exceeding 18 km.

The system has a maximum flight time of up to 25 minutes, can be deployed within three minutes and can detect and identify targets at ranges of up to 500 meters. Following target capture, the interceptor is designed to return to its launch point.

The KARAKURT-K2 net launcher weighs 210g and is manufactured from high-strength aluminium, Militarnyi writes. It connects via a USB Type-C interface and is rated for operation in temperatures ranging from −20°C to +50°C. The launcher has an effective engagement range of up to 15 metres, with the net expanding to a 3 × 3 meter area at a distance of 3–5 meters.

The cost of a single net deployment is UAH 1,100 ($24-25 USD) while the interceptor remains undamaged and ready for subsequent sorties.
