The Nigerian military's Joint Task Force (North East) has destroyed an IED logistics hub in Borno state, Nigeria, according to The Sun: Voice of the Nation.

According to reports, 15 terrorists including two high-profile "Islamic State West Africa Province" leaders were killed in the operation.

The operation was conducted at around 21:20 on Wednesday 28 October, when Nigerian air assets carried out an armed reconnaissance and air interdiction mission north of Kerenoa in Marte Local Government Area of Borno state.

The Sun: Voice of the Nation reported that, during the operation, the air assets tracked two terrorists on a motorcycle to a makeshift structure beneath a tree and further surveillance revealed additional movement around the location, which was subsequently engaged with precision strikes.
