US Army 2nd Infantry Division to procure Orqa FPV drones
The Croatian producer of first-person view drones, Orqa FPV, has announced that they have confirmed an agreement to supply the US Army's 2nd Infantry Division with their systems after a focused evaluation of multiple suppliers.
In the post published on LinkedIn on Monday 24 August, Orqa said that they had emerged as the "chosen provider based on the proven performance of its systems in the field".
Orqa aims to become the world’s number one technology provider for FPV and advanced remote reality applications by developing enabling technology for next-generation vision systems.
It was founded in 2018 by Srdjan Kovacevic, Ivan Jelusic, and Vlatko Matijevic, and is located in Osijek, Croatia, where its development and production is also based.
Back in June 2026, Orqa signed a $150 million CAD exclusive partnership agreement Remote Robotic Systems to expand production of Orqa systems and components in Canada, with the goal of supplying both domestic and export markets.
