The NATO EOD Centre of Excellence has conducted the CBRN EOD Incident Management Staff Officer Training course from 19-23 October, the latest in its series of NATO-approved training courses.

In an article published on their website, the Centre of Excellence wrote that 14 participants from nine NATO and partner nations — the Czech Republic, Portugal, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Türkiye, Belgium and Slovakia — attended the course, with all participants successfully passing.

A significant contribution came from selected subject matter experts from the JCBRN Defence COE, the Belgian EOD Group and other contributing organisations.

"The NATO EOD COE extends its sincere appreciation to all participants, contributing SMEs and partner organisations for their continued support. The successful completion of this course represents another step towards stronger CBRN–EOD cooperation, improved operational coordination, and enhanced protection against complex threats in multinational environments," the Centre wrote.

"The excellent and continuously evolving cooperation with partner organisations strengthens professional ties and provides a solid foundation for future joint training and capability development."
