MIRA Safety, Gumárny Zubří announce global partnership
MIRA Safety has announced a "strategic partnership" with Gumárny Zubří, a Czech manufacturer with more than 90 years of experience in technical rubber, thermoplastics and CBRN equipment.
According to a press release issued on Wednesday 30 September, the collaboration combines Gumárny Zubří's manufacturing and research and development strengths with MIRA Safety's US and global retail reach to broaden access to high‑quality CBRN and protective products.
"Making robust protective solutions widely available is a responsibility we take seriously," said Radim Malina, CBRN products sales manager at Gumárny Zubří. "Our current partnership leverages Gumárny Zubří's production expertise and MIRA Safety's market presence to make proven protective solutions accessible to both civilians and organisations across the globe."
Even though FEMA's 2023 National Household Survey found that 48 percent of adults assembled or updated emergency supplies in the past year and about 51 percent said they felt prepared for a disaster, these figures remain low. The partnership between MIRA Safety and Gumárny Zubří will help close this gap by expanding access to certified, professional‑grade CBRN protection through MIRA's global retail and logistics network while leveraging Gumárny Zubří's manufacturing expertise.
"By combining Gumárny Zubří's manufacturing tradition with MIRA Safety's global retail platform, we can deliver certified, ready‑to‑use protective equipment to more people and organisations worldwide," said Roman Zrazhevskiy, founder and CEO at MIRA Safety. "This partnership accelerates access to trusted protection while maintaining rigorous standards across every market."
MIRA Safety is the exclusive global distributor for retail sales of Gumárny Zubří masks outside the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The CM‑8M mask, one of MIRA Safety's best sellers, was co‑developed by both companies, and ongoing joint development continues to improve product performance across markets, the press release said.
